Model LS-1 FSW - Laboratory Research
The LS-1 Friction Stir Welding system is designed to provide up to 67kN spindle welding force at a maximum of 3000 rpm. Coordinated axes can be provided for linear welding speeds up to 5000 mm/minute. This video illustrates equipment designed to weld up to 55 foot linear seams on various material combinations and geometries, for lab research and production applications.
