Model LS-1 FSW - For Marine Decking and Panels
The LS-1 Friction Stir Welding system is designed to provide up to 100kN spindle welding force at a maximum of 3000 rpm. Coordinated axes can be provided for linear welding speeds up to 5000 mm/minute. This video illustrates equipment designed to weld up to 14.5 m linear seams, on various material combinations and geometries, for marine decking and paneling applications in a production environment.
