Model RM-1 FSW - For Research and Education
The RM-1 Friction Stir Welding system is designed to provide up to 67kN spindle welding force at a maximum of 2500 rpm. Coordinated axes can be provided for linear welding speeds up to 3000 mm/minute. This video illustrates equipment designed to weld up to 700mm linear seams on aluminum alloys 2mm-5mm thick.
